Quick Play
To dominate Ulveria, you will need an army of minions and to make minions, you will need mortals.
Start by hunting down any mortals in your domain by selecting "Dominate" then clicking "Hunt". Enter the amount of turns you would like to spend hunting, try 5 turns first. Your thralls will be dispatched and hopefully return successful.
Now convert your captured mortals into more thralls by selecting "Dominate" and clicking on "Convert". The more thralls you have the more mortals and resources you will capture.
Your going to need more blood to feed your thralls for more hunting. Select "Dominate" then click on "Pillage". This will send out your thralls and strigoiul to a nearby mortal village where they will harvest as many mortals as they can. Enter the amount of turns you would like to spend pillaging and select "Blood".
Keep building up your army of minions by hunting, pillaging and converting. For more information about each minion type, select the "Characters" tab above.
Advanced Play
Now that you know how to build up an army of minions, it is time to advance your skills.
Under "Dominate" you will find the option "Torture". Torturing minions does give you resources but at the cost of killing your own denizens. This can be useful when switching tactics, balancing out your army or just getting some quick resources.
As you build up your army of minions, you will receive gold from performing certain actions within the game. Visit the "Bazaar" under the "Dominate" tab to buy weapons for your minions. Weapons will increase a particular minions power when attacking or defending. Attacking thralls use dirks while strigoiul will use swords. Defending thralls use pikes and upierczi will use crossbows.
Being a head vampire, you are able to manipulate time. You gain time in the form of turns, which grow at a continuous pace whether your online or not. While turns are used to perform actions through out the game, Resonance is a way to bank extra turns. Turns will accumulate in your resonance if maxed out and if both turns and resonance are at max, turns will stop accumulating until some are used. You can deposit turns into your resonance or vise versa by visiting the "Horologe" under "Dominate".
Other Players
Through out Vampire Quest, you will encounter other players(their head vampires). By clicking on their name or avatar some quick options will appear. With some of the options you will be able to visit their profile, write them a message, add them as a friend or even block them.
Other options that may present themselves is "Obtrude Vampire" and "Attack Vampire". You can only attack other head vampires if they are within your range and not under beginner protection. Attacking can bring you some nice rewards that can add to your score. It also increases your skirmish points while decreasing the other vampires score. But it can also do the opposite if you loose the skirmish.
You can obtrude just about any head vampire. Spying, stealing and assassination are all different forms of being obtrusive. The success of the obtrusion can vary but then again bats are a good defense.
